AH GRADUATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes its almost here, and though I am counting the days until I am done with school, I am not prepared and have so much to get caught up with! My art show is next week and I have NOTHING matted!!!!! AH! I have a concert on Thursday, and I my choir is competing for state on Saturday. I wanted to do the marathon but I don't see that happening this week, Ben wants me to go to a concert with him on Friday, and I have a dress to finish sewing for the fashion show, I have to write a screen play for my creative writing script in C.P. English, prepare a music video, oh and I have to write a major essay on how the amendments of the United states affect me...(that will be really easy though.) Well I guess I should stop complaining and get started with things...later days.

Senior Ball

Woo-hoo! Now that I am graduated I have time to update and publish new posts. Here are the pictures of me, Ben, Corinne and Derek, and Brenna and Clayton at Senior Ball!

Dances are a family event for us, lol.

Happy Birthday To You Dad

Though my dad and my relationship can be bumpy at times I love him. My favorite memory of my dad is when I was little, he would read the Lord of The Rings to me every night before I went to bed. He told me there is magic everywhere, and that sometimes we just get to caught up to see it. I still believe that to this day. I used to love listening to his voice when he read, I loved to fall asleep listening to his voice. I still believe he has the best story telling voice.

Here are some facts about Kim Grace:

He swears like a sailor...maybe worse...

Whenever I would go to my dad crying about something, he would look at me tenderly and say "There, there, shut up."

He loves to be outside, and to camp.

He is a cowboy at heart.

He loves spicy foods, old westerns, and fishing.

He loves his motorcycles.

Although, he may have a temper at times, he is very soft hearted, he cries during sentimental movies. (He'll never admit to it)

He collects knives.

He takes the best pictures of wild life.

He makes sure that my mom and I can count on baked apple turn-overs every Sunday morning.

He is excellent with his hands, and at welding.

If you ever need a favor he will do all he can to help you. Really, he got a hernia last year helping one of our neighbor's with their yard that had flooded.

I love you Dad! Happy Birthday!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Ashley!

Ashley Otteson has been my best friend ever since I can remember। She is my partner in crime, together we were relentless when it came to pranks. I also remember that for along time we looked so much alike that we would trick people into thinking we were twins. We soon became known as the "Ashley Twins" all through out Mesa.

Happy Cinco De Mayo/ Happy Birthday Dad - Ashley - Uncle Kevin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May fifth is definitely a day that is highlighted on my calendar....or at least it would be if I had one. Not only is it Cinco De mayo, but it is my Dad's birthday, my Uncles Birthday, and my best friend Ashley O's birthday! I am going to give each of them their own entry though.

Spring: My Favorite Season

The air was full of sun and birds,
The fresh air sparkled clearly.
Remembrance wakened in my heart
And I knew I loved her dearly.

The fallows and the leafless trees
And all my spirit tingled.
My earliest thought of love, and Spring's
First puff of perfume mingled.

In my still heart the thoughts awoke,
Came lone by lone together -
Say, birds and Sun and Spring, is Love
A mere affair of weather?

Spring Song by Robert Louis Stevenson

As I walked down my street the other day I was escorted by hundreds of trees all in bloom, sprouting tulips and daffodils, the sound of baby birds, and the smell of fresh soil. It reconfirmed my reason why spring is my favorite season. Not only because I am in love with the blooming trees and flowers, and the cute baby animals you see everywhere, but it gives me hope. Spring is life after death, it is rebirth. No matter how harsh, cold, and dark Winter may be spring always comes. It is proof if we can hold on, push through, eventually things come around.
